An Author/Illustrator Perspective with Salina Yoon award-winning author/illustrator and book designer.

Salina will answer questions about developing books for children from an author/illustrator’s perspective. Salina will discuss common author and illustrator issues including: what makes a compelling character, how to create art and text that complement each other, and the use of color, composition, and perspective as effective tools in storytelling. This session will be of interest to both author and illustrators and especially author/illustrators as Salina looks at creating characters and stories from both sides of the puzzle.
