Buying a Season Ticket Saves Money
Registration opens August 14, 2021. Take note due to corona virus we are planning our 2021/2022 season September – April to all be Zoom meetings. We hope to start in September 2022 meeting In-person AND Live-stream our meetings.
Next season’s In-person venue has yet to be confirmed. We will announce the location here on our website prior to September 2022 meeting.
From August 14th though December 12th you can purchase a Season Ticket for our September through April chapter meetings (held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month September 2021 through April 2022). Season Tickets provide admission to all chapter meetings without monthly registration, discounted pricing for intensives and for MayFest conference, and access to chapter meeting recordings (for a max of 15-days after the meeting) whether they were able to attend or not.
We won’t be asking everyone to fill out the beginning-of-the-year sign in sheet this year, so please be sure your e-mail is updated with SCBWI as that is the email we will be using for sending Zoom meeting invites/links, notifications and reminders. You can verify what email SCBWI has on record by opening the SCBWI website and going to your My Home page.
The cost of a Season Ticket is $50 for SCBWI members; $75 for nonmembers (reduced pricing for this season) and helps us bring in speakers and underwrite chapter events. If you are an SCBWI Int’l member and registered with SCBWI Int’l as a Full Time College Student you will get an automatic 10% discount. If you are a SCBWI member facing financial hardship due to Covid, please contact us at sandiego@scbwi.org. We will be offering a free meeting, one time per person.
Any Season Ticket Purchases after Noon Pacific Time on the day of an event will not be able to attend that days chapter meeting live, but you will receive the link to that meetings recording (available for 2 weeks after the meeting day.)
